We are so excited to welcome these two incredible women to our screens this month for our free digital event, #BlogHer Healthy at Home. Her aforementioned directed short, Daddio (which she also wrote and starred in) was featured at Sundance this past January. She played Penny in Happy Endings, was a featured player on Saturday Night Live and can currently be seen in Showtime’s Black Monday with Don Cheadle and Regina Hall. June’s next film, The High Note, is set to release May 29th.Ĭasey Wilson is an actress, director, writer, the host of the Earwolf podcast “Bitch Sesh,” and an all-around phenomenal talent. She’s even co-written a book, “Represent: The Woman’s Guide to Running for Office and Changing the World” - AKA, the politically-inclined lady’s guide to saving us all. June Diane Raphael (or JDR as her contact will read in your phone if you sign up for her text-community newsletter) plays Brianna on Grace and Frankie, has thrice reprised her role in Netflix’s Big Mouth, and founded The Jane Club, a shared workspace for women in Los Angeles. As much as we love everything these two touch together, their stand-alone accomplishments are equally impressive (and hilarious). The pair have collaborated with each other on a multitude of projects including co-writing Bride Wars, June’s role in Casey’s directed short, Daddio, to writing and co-starring together in the laugh-out-loud funny 2013 film Ass Backwards.
